Daycare Schedule

The daily schedule is flexible as needed to meet the needs of the children. We ask that parents respect the daily schedule. When children adjust to the center’s routine and quickly learn what the limits are, it makes their stay at the centre easier if their schedule is consistent.

*Diaper changes are also changed on an as needed basis and recorded on the diaper change sheet.

06:30	Daycare Opens. Activity tables open. Puzzles, playdough, colouring, quiet music, book corner open.
07:30	All centers are open for play. Diaper changes and bathroom time for Toddlers.
08:00 - 09:00	Breakfast as children come in to the daycare. All centers remain open at this time.
09:00 - 10:00	Toddlers go the the gym or outside. Preschoolers do art or cooking and circle time.
10:00 - 10:30	Morning snack.
10:30 - 11:00	Toddlers do art and circle time. Preschoolers go to the gym or outside.
11:00 - 11:30	Diaper changes and bathroom time for Toddlers.
11:30 - 12:15	Lunch time
12:15 - 14:00	Rest time or sleep time at 13:00. Those children not sleeping will be invited to play with nap time toys at the table or on their beds.
14:00 - 14:30	Wake up routine. Diaper and bathroom time for Toddlers.
14:30 - 15:00	Snack time
15:00 - 16:00	Outside or gym time for Toddlers. Free play for Preschoolers.
16:00 - 17:00	Free play for Toddlers. Diaper changes and bathroom time for Toddlers. Outside or gym time for Preschoolers.
17:00 - 17:30	Activity tables close. Puzzles, playdough, colouring, quiet music, book corner open.
17:30	Daycare closes.
